Cooper Hewitt Museum / 2015
Blacktable designed and fabricated this piece in collaboration with A-window. The piece, and its exact replica, were commissioned as a portable display case shaped in the form of the Cooper Hewitt Museum main facade to promote products sold at the Museum’s gift shop.
The pieces were built in clear, transparent acrylic. The sum of panels gives the exact space for each of the objects to be promoted, making them look like they are suspended on mid-air.
